Makes sense Heard that Lauryn Hill's album title was taken from this book. I am on a personal journey to understand race. Luckily for me, I grew up in Africa and did not experience these polarities. Now, though, that I live abroad my blackness has taken a life of its own. It is still the biggest elephant in the room that requires careful addressing.
